Peterlee Church



Opened in 1958 the church occupies a site in Peterlee Town Centre.
The building is open for prayer from 10am - 12noon Monday to Wednesday.
There are two services of worship each Sunday. 10am is a traditional service and 7pm is an informal cafe church evening.

Monday 10:30am - Bible Study


7:30pm (First and Third each month) - Ladies' Circle.
A meeting for women which is open to anyone who wishes to come. There is a variety of activities, speakers, crafts, meals, etc. At present there is a membership of about 20 which includes members of other denominations and some who are not regular church attenders.

Wednesday 10:00am - Craft Class.
Come and bring your own craftwork to do. Knitting, sewing, embroidery, card making, etc. Or just come for coffee and a chat. Learn new skills, visit craft fairs, it's very easy going.

Thursday 10:00am - 12:00noon Come and eat!
Enjoy pies and peas, Bacon Butties, hot snacks, along with desserts and cakes at very reasonable prices.

Thursday 2pm (Fortnightly) Meeting Point.
A meeting for senior Citizens. Talk, play games, devotional time.

Friday 6pm Friday Live, a children's group

Other Organisations who use the church include:

Slimming clubs, U3A, Peterlee Walking Club, Blood Donors, Residents Associations.
Mental Health Groups and Horizon.
