Westbourne Church

Westbourne Methodist Church is situated in the Stranton area of Hartlepool, just off the A689 Tesco roundabout.

The schoolrooms have played an important part in the life of Westbourne. They were the first building to be erected on the site in 18xx to be followed by the church proper which was built in 19xx. During the Second World War the church building was badly damaged and worship continued in the schoolrooms. Unfortunately the church had to be demolished in 1999 and the schoolrooms were again refurbished as a worship centre which was re-dedicated in May 2000.

The church is a member of the Hartlepool Town Centre Churches Together who meets regularly to promote Christian outreach to the residents of Hartlepool.
